Apple has released the Golden Master (GM) of OS X Mavericks to developers.  A golden master is the final version of beta which developers may obtain.  Typically, Apple releases the final, public version of its OS within two weeks of the GM.  s

Mavericks brings a host of new features to the table such as iCloud Keychain, App Nap, Battery Improvements, Multiple Displays (between macs) and more.  

According to rumors, Mavericks is expected to be released this month, likely towards the month’s end.
